Founded in 2023, Vendxi Productions offers a platform for creative work with a democratic twist. Featuring four contest periods a year, CMeRise users submit their original creative work in a range of categories, such as music, film, dance, literature, and more. These original works are then viewed and rated, allowing the best work to rise to the top.
The objective of Vendxi Productions is to establish meritocracy and transparency in the creative fields, breaking down barriers erected by gatekeepers. Open contests judged by peers allow opportunity to all, which will allow underrepresented voices to be seen and heard.
Contest periods are comprised of two separate rounds: A submission round and a voting round. Each contest period is approximately 90 days long, with each submission round and voting round dividing the total contest period (around 45 days each).
During the submission round, users upload their creative works into the category that best defines their specific piece, whether it is a song, a story, or even a short film. Users' submissions can be perfected until midnight of the final day of the submission round. At that point, they are finalized and will go live on Vendxi Productions.
During the voting round, the creative works are reviewed and rated by the rest of the Vendxi Productions community. These votes are compiled and weighed throughout the round and, at the end of each completed contest period, winners in each category will be selected.
